LaVar Ball, the father of NBA players Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball, is known for his outspoken personality and controversial statements. He recently fired back at San Antonio Spurs chairman Gregg Popovich after Popovich called him a "fan in the peanut gallery."
Ball's comments came in response to Popovich criticizing him for comments he made about former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton. Bower claimed Walton was poorly coached and that he was not the right age for the job.
Bower said on his podcast, "Y'all shut up and just care about your team."
Bauer's son, Lonzo, said he disagrees with his father's opinion of Walton.
"He'll speak his mind. He's not going to change." Lonzo said." I don't think [Walton has lost the locker room]. I mean, he's our head coach."
Walton was fired by the Lakers in 2019.
