FFXIV: How to Unlock Palace of the Dead

Like the fun-filled Gold Saucer arcade zone in Final Fantasy XIV, the Palace of the Dead features some of the most compelling and addictive side content in FFXIV Gil Final Fantasy XIV. Also known as a Deep Dungeon, the Palace of the Dead is a roguelike series of floors filled with increasingly difficult enemies and bosses. Whenever players reenter the Deep Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV, they are bound to undergo a different experience from the previous, as the floors and rooms are randomly generated every time.

While the main objective of the Palace of the Dead is to reach the final floor of its roguelike labyrinth, players will repeatedly clear certain levels as a means to level up a new combat job quickly. Additionally, the optional game mode features mechanics and a reward system uniquely separate from the main game, meaning players can spend countless hours in the Deep Dungeon amassing wealth, exclusive weapons, and Glamor armor pieces. These rewards can also be sold on the Market Board, making the Palace of the Dead a fitting way to earn FFXIV Items Gil in Final Fantasy XIV.

How to Enter Palace of the Dead in Final Fantasy XIV.

The Palace of the Dead is a little different from typical Duties in FFXIV, as players can't use the Duty Finder to access it. To enter the Deep Dungeon, players must directly talk with the Wood Wailer Expeditionary Captain. He will give players a choice to either begin with a fixed party or a randomly matched party. Players can also solo the Deep Dungeon if they please, albeit it will prove to be more challenging, especially in the higher levels.

Once players reach Level 50 and defeat the floor's boss, they will be able to access Level 51 instantly whenever they restart a dungeon run. The choice floors for efficiently leveling up new jobs in FFXIV are Levels 51-60.
