If you're planning on watching some basketball this evening or at least putting together a lineup on DraftKings we have a stars-and-sleepers build we think could net you some DFS cash to close out your week and enter the work-week in style.MVPs are everywhere acro s this five-game slate. Back-to-back reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets host the Magic. Perennial MVP candidate Joel Embiid and the 76ers face four-time MVP LeBron James and the Lakers in Los Angeles, with Anthony Davis (foot) remaining sidelined and James Harden (heel) po sibly also in street clothes. And the Mavericks could be without MVP frontrunner Luka Doncic (ankle) against Damian Lillard and the Blazers.Got all that!? Good! It's always important to monitor the health and injury status of all your potential DFS picks, and to make things easier we are drafting all players without questionable designations. In the middle of a wild day of football, we don't trust ourselves to go back in and update our lineup ahead of the 6:00 p.m. lock.As always, the name of the game is to get the most bang for your buck. Let's dive into our Sunday night DraftKings NBA lineup, and briefly discu s why each player represents above-average value.Note: DraftKings lineup construction is simple: draft eight players with a signed salaries one for each position, as well as one guard flex, one forward flex, and one utility and keep the team under the $50,000 salary cap.SIGN UP FOR SLING: | Getty Images PG: Jalen Williams, Pelicans at Nets ($5,100)We love that Williams has point guard eligibility, especially with Doncic and Harden listed as questionable and Kyrie Irving ($9,200) a bit too pricey for our liking. The rookie affectionately nicknamed J-Dub has been fantastic of late, regularly posting fantasy scores of 25-30 since the calendar turned and putting up two 40-burgers since Jan. 3. He's a solid source of scoring, rebounding, and a sists, but he also surprises us with stocks on a consistent basic. This price tag seems like a steal. Getty Images SG: Joe Staley Jersey Malik Monk, Kings at Spurs ($4,300)Sporting his patented 'bandaid look' like Nelly in the early 2000s, Monk has been a revelation for the surprisingly-good Kings this season. He averages 24.3 fantasy points per game, but his ceiling against below-average defenses can be a game-changer. Since Christmas, we have seen Monk eclipse 33 against Orlando and 43 against Denver. If he's got the hot hand tonight against a subpar Spurs D, he could flirt with sleeper gem territory once again. Getty Images SF: T.J. Warren, Nets vs. Thunder ($4,200)Another super-sleeper, Warren has been the 'next man up' for Jacques Vaughn's Nets since Kevin Durant sprained his MCL. The former 'Bubble MVP' just recently returned from a longtime ACL recovery of his own, but he certainly still knows how to score. Warren has point totals of 20, 18, 15, and 10 over the course of the past five games, and could pay off handsomely if he starts providing some other peripheral stats.PF: Trey Lyles, Kings at Spurs ($3,600)Talk about a deep sleeper Lyles is such an under-the-radar play, I can't Jason Verrett Jersey even find a photo for him! But he has very quietly averaged 29.75 fantasy points over Sacramento's past three games. He's a solid shooter, he's good for five boards per game, and he usually chips in a couple a sists and one or two stocks a game. That's all you can ask for at $3,600. NBA Entertainment C: Nikola Jokic, Nuggets vs. Magic ($11,600)The build-up was there you had to know that the presence of all those sleepers in our lineup meant that Jokic was going to be manning the middle. The two-time MVP remains the best fantasy a set in the A sociation, regularly a sembling statistical lines that make you shake your head in wonder. Against a Magic squad woefully unequipped to defend him, Jokic could hit 60 fantasy points by the end of the third quarter.G: Bruce Brown, Nuggets vs. Magic ($4,900)From Nuggets MVP to Nuggets glue guy! Brown has been Fred Warner Jersey a fan favorite in Denver, and he's one of Jokic and coach Mike Malone's favorite offseason additions. He's one of the best rebounding and defensive guards in the NBA, he's a solid shooter, and he plays with intelligence. Come for the boards and stocks, leave pleasantly surprised with some scoring and a sists. Getty Images F: De'Anthony Melton, 76ers at Lakers ($5,000)We expect Melton to step up big time for the Sixers if Harden sits with heel pain, so his per-game fantasy average of around 27 points seems like a realistic bar to set tonight. He has trailed off a bit since Tyrese Maxey returned, but Melton still has plenty of talent. He's one of the better three-and-D guys in pro hoops, and should help Philly beat up on King James and the Lakers this evening. Getty Images Util:Joel Embiid, 76ers at Lakers ($11,200)Last but certainly not least, JoJo Dwight Clark Jersey with the MVP mojo! Embiid seems to be on a warpath as of late, clearly looking to win the scoring title for the second-straight season with 33 points per game. He's also searching for his first MVP award, which he could very well pull down if he keeps up his current pace. At this rate, 50 fantasy points is Embiid's baseline, especially in a big game. But with the defensively-challenged Thomas Bryant in charge of stopping him sans-Anthony Davis, his number tonight could be closer to 80.
