Meanwhile, the top two seeds in the West are the Jazz (10-3) and Blazers (9-3), while the Warriors and Lakers are a combined 6-16. That's some wild early-season stuff, most of which even the most locked-in analysts didn't see coming (well, I had the Lakers stinking, but that's an easy one).It's a long season many of these good squads will see positive regre sion, while the Jazz will likely come back down to Earth eventually. We won't bet on it, though those guys are fighting hard every night! We will, however, bet on our top picks for tonight's slate of NBA hoops and for the first time this season, we will run the gauntlet in one fell swoop.Here's our best bets for standard moneyline, spread, and over/under wagerers, our favorite player props, and our DraftKings DFS lineup for Friday night in the NBA.SIGN UP FOR SLING: | (NBA Entertainment) Milwaukee Bucks ( ) at San Antonio SpursWithout their star trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday Wednesday, the Bucks battled to a double-overtime victory over the scrappy young Kyle Long Jersey OKC Thunder. They could be without Giannis (knee) and Jrue (ankle) again this evening, and definitely won't have Middleton as he continues to rehab from wrist surgery. But it may not matter the Bucks still have plenty of playmakers on both ends of the floor who can take advantage of the inexperienced Spurs.Jevon Carter looked incredible against the Thunder, pouring in 36 points and getting his teammates going as well. Brook Lopez added 24 points most of which he earned near the paint, bully-ball style and he collected five blocks to add to his league lead. Veteran big Bobby Portis also came up big, as did the free-shooting trio of pesky Grayson Allen, veteran George Hill, and rookie MarJon Beauchamp.Led by Keldon Johnson and Devin Va sell, San Antonio has lots of young talent for Gregg Popovich to mold in his pa s-and-move offensive system. But it's definitely a work in progre s, and the Spurs' defense has been dreadful in the meantime. Pop's squad ranks dead last in opposing points, field goals, and field goal percentage. San Antonio also has the fewest defensive rebounds in the league. Expect a ma sive game from Lopez and Portis, who will go off down low in the last leg of the Bucks' road trip before a much-needed home stand back in Milwaukee. Getty Images Denver Nuggets ( ) at Boston CelticsThe reigning Eastern Conference-champion Celtics have been sizzling out of the gates this season, sitting at 8-3 and currently riding a four-game winning streak. Jayson Tatum looks poised for an MVP run, Jaylen Brown has also been incredible, and the point guard duo of Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon has kept both the first and second units crisp and efficient. Their only blemishes to an otherwise sparkling start: two overtime lo ses to Cleveland in a five-day stretch, and a beat-down by the Bulls in Chicago.Here's what those opposing squads have in common: they feature strong perimeter playmakers, above-average shooters, and All-Star big men. With All-Defensive center Robert Williams III still on the shelf for Boston, opponents who enjoy these three components have a good shot at beating the Celtics. Denver most certainly checks those boxes reigning two-time MVP Nikola Jokic has been magnificent as always, Michael Porter Danny Trevathan Jersey Jr. has been shooting lights-out, and Jamal Murray seems to be on the verge of a return to greatne s.With Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and backup center DeAndre Jordan battling down low, it could be a long night for Al Horford and backup C's bigs Noah Vonleh and Luke Kornet. And watch for former Celtic Jeff Green to go off like he always Eddie Jackson Jersey does against his old squad (Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Bones Hyland, and Bruce Brown are no slouches, either). Denver might win this game outright to nab its fifth-straight victory but the Nuggets should at least cover the +4.5. Getty Images Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies: UNDER 234.5 ( )The Grizzlies have picked up where they left off in their remarkable 2021 run they are a respectable 8-4 despite the continued absence of Jaren Jackson Jr. (foot). Ja Morant once again looks like an MVP contender, and fellow backcourt stud Desmond Bane has looked even better than he did last season.On the Timberwolves side, things haven't quite gone as planned and they have been getting booed off the floor at home. The addition of Rudy Gobert via a blockbuster offseason trade, a deal thought to push Minnesota into title contention, has seemingly clogged the middle of the floor for Chris Finch's squad. Perimeter scorers Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Ru sell have demonstrated questionable shot selection. Karl Anthony-Towns has been pa sing well, but brutal on the defensive end especially when Gobert sits.Honestly, this feels like a good bet whether the Wolves pick it up or not. The UNDER has gone 8-4 in Minnesota's games this season, partly due to Gobert's rim protection and partly due to the Wolves' sometimes-erratic offense. And Memphis has the fourth-best defensive net rating in the NBA. Let the deep freeze continue Minnesota. Warriors vs. Cavaliers: The Caesars 'Splash Brothers Boost' Steph Curry and Klay Thompson each OVER 4.5 made three-point shots ( )Now, this is just fun. And a $30 wager would net you nearly $200 if Curry and Thompson go off (better and more fun than scratch tickets, if you ask me). The Warriors always get up against the Cavaliers, especially at home, and Cleveland has been one of the hottest squads in the NBA out of the gates. If this game is as high-scoring as oddsmakers think it will be (the over/under is set Eddie Goldman Jersey at 232.5, second-highest of tonight's slate) and Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell have it going for the Cavs you'll enjoy buying into the Splash Brothers on this one.
