Utility Stores Corporation has announced a reduction in the price of subsidized ghee by Rs 18 per kg. As of today, registered families of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP PMT 40) can purchase ghee at Rs 375 per kg, down from Rs 393 per kg. For general customers, the price has also been lowered by Rs 18 per kg, now available at Rs 445 per kg instead of Rs 463 per kg.

In response to the Prime Minister's special subsidy of Rs 7.5 billion for Ramadan, the Utility Stores Corporation has adjusted the rates of various products, including ghee, cooking oil, tea, soap, and washing powder.
Under the Prime Minister’s directive, the price of subsidized ghee was further reduced by Rs 30 per kg from the start of Ramadan. Additionally, mobile utility stores and subsidized flour sales points have been set up nationwide to facilitate access to subsidized flour.
These new prices are effective immediately.
